• Cash-Flow: Seeking assets that meet minimum dividend requirement. Lower dividend paying assets must have higher potential for growth. Higher dividend paying assets will have lower potential for growth. 

• Low Volatility: Seeking stable assets with minimal impact from the overall economy. 

• Modest Growth: For small portion of portfolio, identify sectors with opportunities for long-term growth while generating modest income.
